Phillip L. Glick MD is a tenured Professor of Surgery of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo and Professor of Management, School of Management, University. 

Dr. Philip L. Glick is a board certified Pediatric Surgeon with greater than 35 years of experience treating newborns, toddlers, children of all ages, and adult survivors of congenital surgical conditions.  His current practice is limited to children with congenital chest wall deformities (pectus excavatum, pectus carinatum, Poland’s syndrome) and established patients requiring follow-up.

Dr. Glick is board certified in Pediatric Surgery.   Dr. Glick has been named one of America’s Top Doctors and Western New York’s Top Doctors for the last 18 of 22 years.

Dr. Glick teaches medical students, Pediatric and Surgical Residents and Colleagues.  Dr. Glick has trained 25 pediatric surgical fellows (a majority are practicing in academic departments), supervised 11 Research Fellows, and 4 PhD candidates.  Dozens of undergraduate and medical students have done summer internships in his laboratory.  He continues an open door office-hours policy with the medical students and residents and regularly mentors and sponsors them for the personal and professional development.  He continues to teach 3rd year students medical surgical ethics and  teaches human anatomy (pelvis, abdomen, chest and neck) to the freshman medical students.

Dr. Glick is a member the American Pediatric Surgical Association, the American College of Surgeons, the American Surgical Society, the International Fetal Medicine and Surgery Society, the Association for Academic Surgery, the British Association of Pediatric Surgery, the Pediatric Surgery Biology Club, the Central Surgical Association and the Society of University Surgeons.
