Leah Heffter, PA
Leah Heffter is a board-certified physician assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She completed her education at Daemen University with clinical experience in plastic surgery, family medicine, pediatrics, general surgery, mental health, women’s health, cardiology, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and dermatology.
Leah Heffter is now a general surgery PA affiliated with UBMD surgery. She specializes in the care of burn, trauma, general, and vascular conditions. She routinely provides services ranging from initial consults, follow-up care, outpatient procedures, and first assisting in the operating room. Leah has additional certification in advanced cardiac life support and NYS infections disease training.
During her free time, Leah enjoys playing the piano and singing, solving Rubik’s cubes, drawing, and staying active in the gym.
