Colon Cancer: What you need to know – Free Community Education Class

Kaleida Health provides Healthy U, a free education class available to the community.   February’s class topic is “Colon Cancer: What you need to know“, which will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 6:00pm – 7:30pm.

The presentation will be given by John B. Ortolani, M.D. & Rectal Surgery, Assistant Professor of Surgery, University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine.  Dr. Ortolani will talk about how to prevent colon cancer, how it is detected, various treatment options and the roles of colorectal and rectal surgeons.

The presentation will be held at New Era Pavilion, Oishei Children’s Hospital, 818 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, NY 14203.
