Weidun Alan Guo, MD, PhD, FACS, Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery, was invited to the 87th Annual Scientific Congress of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons held in partnership with the American College of Surgeons and in conjunction with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in Sydney on May 7-11, 2018. He first attended the Commemorative Dinner for the Development of a Career and Skills in Academic Surgery (DCAS) Course where he served as a faculty and visiting professor 2 years ago. He then gave 3 presentations in the Trauma section of the Congress, including one in the Masterclass.
