Raphael Blochle, MD
Raphael Blochle, MD joined UBMD Surgery in 2010. Dr. Blochle is Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at University at Buffalo, and is an Attending Staff Vascular Surgeon for UBMD Surgery at Erie County Medical Center. Dr. Blochle holds Boards and certifications from the American Board of Surgery for both General and Vascular Surgery, and is certified for Basic Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support Instructor, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography β Physician Vascular Interpretation, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider, and Advanced Trauma Life Support Prover.
Dr. Blochle has received six awards and honors through his career. He has been published four times, has research under review and pending publication, as well as supervised resident research projects. Dr. Blochle participates with various teaching and continuing education activities through SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and Erie County Medical Center. Continuing education focuses are for Department of Surgery Grand Rounds, Department of Surgery Morbidity and Mortality Conference, and Department of Surgery Trauma Conference. Dr. Blochle completed a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery and is certified by the American Board of Surgery in both General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. Dr. Blochle is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and German.
