Steven M. Barone, MD
Steven Barone, MD is a board-certified colorectal and general surgeon. He specializes in diseases and surgery of colon, rectum, anus and performs colonoscopies as well as general surgery with modern technologies, such as laparoscopy. Dr. Barone received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, IL. He completed his residency from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Department of Surgery and Colorectal Surgery and received fellowship training from Saint Vincent Health Center in Erie, PA. Dr. Barone received a teaching award from the University at Buffalo and holds the title of Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University at Buffalo. Dr. Barone has participated in several research cancer programs.
