UBMD Surgery
Vascular Lab
The Lab you go to matters.
The UBMD Vascular Lab (otherwise known as the University Vascular Laboratory) provides a broad range of non-invasive vascular diagnostic services, using ultrasound imaging, doppler blood flow evaluation, and physiologic testing.
UBMD Vascular Lab serves all of our locations at Buffalo General Medical Center, Conventus, Erie County Medical Center, and Northtowns UBMD Surgery, just around the corner from Millard Fillmore Suburban.
We have the distinction of being accredited in all major areas of testing offered, including peripheral arterial, venous, carotid, and abdominal vascular testing. The Lab is under the direction of Jacqueline Burgio, BS, RVT, technical director, and Dr. Maciej Dryjski, medical director.
UBMD Surgery Vascular Lab is accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). The IAC offers accreditation for each of the testing areas that a vascular laboratory performs. University Vascular Lab first sought IAC accreditation in 2000 and has continually maintained accreditation since that time.
Early detection and treatment of peripheral arterial disease may prevent loss of limbs or strokes.
