Dr. Fung gave a lecture to residents and medical staff at Sisters Hospital on May 17, 2018 to discuss the importance of post-operative management and complications that hospitals may encounter. The lecture was primarily about when it is necessary to contact the surgeon about a complication post operation, how to create the best outcomes for the patients, what to look for as far as post-operative surgical site issues, and how to best keep the communication with the entire team open. The lecture was attended by about 20 participants on Sisters Hospital Campus in Palmer Hall.
